The Sales Gods Favor the Brave

Summer always brings a certain energy, doesn’t it?

The days are longer. The sun is hotter. And everything around us seems to be moving a little faster—bolder, more alive.

It’s the perfect season for action.

So let’s talk about that—specifically, the kind of action that feels a little scary, a little messy, or not-quite-ready.

In last week’s Shatter Lounge meetup, one of our members asked for help crafting the perfect cold outreach strategy for a big prospect. We brainstormed, weighed options, and explored different angles.
But in the end, my advice was simple:
Just act.

She had already done the work. She found the right person. She knew she could help.
Now it was time to stop planning and start moving.

Because here’s what I believe with my whole heart:

Not perfect action. Not polished action. Just action

One of my favorite things about sales (as a recovering control freak 🙋‍♀️) is that I get to take imperfect action again and again—because I’ll always get the chance to refine.

Overthinking might feel safe. But movement is what builds momentum.
And momentum? That’s what creates results.
