It’s that time of year again — the inbox is overflowing, your coffee intake has tripled, and every client suddenly remembers that one project they meant to finish months ago.
And if you’re anything like most women in sales, you’re trying to do it all: hit your number, thank your clients, wrap up your admin, and still somehow have enough energy left to show up at holiday gatherings looking festive instead of fried.
For over a decade, I worked in an industry where this was the busiest, most stressful time of the year. And on top of that, it was always deeply important to me to spend the holidays with my mom — who happens to live in Florida.
Every December felt like a mad dash to tie up loose ends, hit my goals, and somehow make it to the airport without losing my mind.
Now that I’m out of that industry, there’s a part of me that feels freer — but I still notice how easy it is to get pulled back into that “do it all” mentality. That voice that whispers, just one more thing before you rest.
But here’s the truth I keep coming back to:
You don’t have to sprint to the finish line — you just have to finish strong and sane.
The most successful women I know don’t treat December like a race. They treat it like a recalibration.
Because closing the year strong isn’t about doing more.
It’s about being more intentional with your energy.
✨ It’s saying no to the deals that drain you.
✨ It’s wrapping up the conversations that feel forced.
✨ It’s doubling down on the relationships that light you up.
When you prioritize energy over effort, something magical happens: you finish the year proud — not exhausted.
And that’s the kind of momentum that follows you into 2026.
Here’s your Sales Spark challenge for the week:
What’s one thing you can release this week — a task, a deal, or even an expectation — to protect your energy and close the year strong?
Remember: you’ve already done enough, achieved enough, been enough this year.
Give yourself permission to slow down, soak it in, and trust that the sales gods reward those who protect their peace. 🌙
You’ve got this — and you deserve to end the year feeling grounded, grateful, and proud of how far you’ve come.
Get weekly insights, sales tips, mindset strategies, and more delivered to your inbox.
