Tomorrow’s Thanksgiving, and while most people are thinking about mashed potatoes and pie (which, let’s be honest, I fully support)…
I’ve been thinking about gratitude—and specifically, how we express it in business.
In sales, “thank you” is easy to say but powerful when you show it.
And the most memorable gestures always have two things in common:
they’re personal and purposeful.
✨ Personal means it reflects something uniquely “them.”
It says, I see you. I appreciate you.
It’s a gesture that feels thoughtful—not generic.
✨ Purposeful means it’s something they’ll actually find helpful.
Something that adds value or makes their day just a little bit easier.
When you combine those two, you transform a transactional thank-you into a relational one.
Here are a few ways to do that this season:
💌 Send referrals – Introduce them to someone who could benefit from their work.
🎟️ Attend one of their events – Nothing says support like showing up in their world.
📣 Promote them on social media – A simple tag or share goes a long way.
🎧 Share a video or podcast – Something that could inspire or help them grow.
🍪 Send a tasty treat – My personal favorite (you know I love a good cookie moment).
Because gifts don’t have to be big to make an impact.
They just need to be meaningful and useful.
So before you sign off for the holiday, take a minute to reflect:
Who could you surprise with a gesture of genuine appreciation?
As for me—this is my moment to say thank you.
Thank you for reading, for being part of this community, and for showing up week after week with heart, humor, and intention.
You are what makes this work so fulfilling.
Wishing you a warm, joy-filled Thanksgiving. 🧡
